Firstly, please prepare your samples as 16-bit mono WAV files with a maximum size of 15 MB. The sample rate should be 48 or 44.1 kHz.

Ensure that your USB flash drive is formatted to FAT32, then follow the steps below...

1. Put your samples on either the root of your flash drive, or in an easily accessable folder, then connect it to the Command module.

2. Go to Menu > USB Memory > Sample Load, then scroll down the list to find your sample.

3. Once you have highlighted your sample's name so that it is selected, press the Enter button, then press Enter again to proceed past the "Load to User Voice?" message.

4. Once it has finished processing, remove your USB flash drive.

5. Go to Menu > Voice, then strike the pad that you would like to assign your sound to.

6. The biggest text on the screen correlates to the sample currently being used for that pad, so highlight it using the up and down buttons, then use the large dial to scroll through your options.

7. Once your desired sample, which was imported from the USB drive in step 3, has been selected, simply strike your pad and it will play the sample back.

8. You can now back out of the menu, or continue assigning samples by following steps 1 - 7 again.
