In this guide, we will go over how to reset your Alesis drum module to its factory settings. 



TABLE OF CONTENTS


Lite Module: Turbo Mesh, Debut Kit, E-Drum Total, DM Lite Kit


Hold down the - and + buttons while powering on.  If the reset is successful, you will see "FAC" briefly appear on the display.



Nitro Module: Nitro Mesh Kit (Standard, Limited and Special Edition) Surge Mesh Kit (Standard and Special Edition) Nitro Kit.



Hold down the < and > buttons while powering on.  If the reset is successful, you will see "RST---" appear on the screen.



Nitro Max Module: Nitro Max Kit


Hold down the - and + buttons while powering on.  If the reset is successful, you will see "RST---" appear on the screen.



Advanced Module: Command Mesh (Standard and SE), Command X Mesh (Standard and SE), Command X, Command Kit, Crimson Mesh Kit, Crimson II Kit (Standard and SE)



Press and Hold the < and > buttons while powering on.  You will then see " Erasing all content..." followed by "Reset OK!"



DM10 MKII Module: DM10 MKII Pro and DM10 MKII Studio



- Press the Utility Button

- Use the Down and Up buttons to select from the options

below. Find the Factory Set

- Press F1 to enter

- Menu option will do the following:


• Kit: Resets only the user kit settings.

• Song: Resets only the user songs.

• Voice: Resets only the user voices.

• Trigger: Resets only the user trigger settings.

• All: Resets all user settings.


**If for any reason you are unable to perform a reset via the utility settings:


1. Power on the unit while holding the two arrow buttons
2. Select Menu > Factory Reset > Reset all



Strike Module: Strike SE, Strike Pro, Strike Kit 


  1. Press and hold the Stop and Enter buttons while powering up the module. "Resetting Factory Defaults..." will be displayed on the module.
  2. Wait 5 seconds, then let go of the buttons.
