The Stata Prime features the ability to load your own samples, to be assigned to parts of the kit. To achieve this, you will need to load the samples to either an SD, SDHC, or SDXC card (ex-FAT or FAT32 formatted). The samples will need to be of the following file type:
.WAV, .MP3, and .AIFF files (44.1, 48, 88.2, 96 kHz sample rates that are 24, 16, or 8-bit)
With the card inserted into the Strata module:
Once loaded, audio files will be converted into Kit Pieces and put into the User Kit Piece Library.
You can then return to edit mode (press the Kit button and then tap Edit on the right edge of the screen), to assign these kit pieces to the desired drum element:
1. While in Edit mode, select the Trigger Slot you would like to change by either tapping on the Kit display or by using the Hit Select feature.
2. Turn the Main Encoder to navigate the list of Kit Pieces. Once the new Kit Piece is selected, push the Main Encoder to load the Kit Piece. You can also press the +/- buttons to immediately load the next/previous Kit Piece in the list.
To save a Kit to your User Library, tap the Save button at the top right corner of the Edit page. Alternatively, tap the Options icon and then select Save As to save a copy of the current Preset Kit to your User Library.
