It's possible that a User pattern has been accidentally set to Preset, or vice versa.
To resolve this, please check the area marked in red below, and use the Preset/User button to toggle this setting.
If the issue persists, please try replacing your speakers and speaker cables, ensuring TRS jacks are used.
